RFP/Surplus Equipment Bid

Surplus Equipment bids being accepted


 The following items will be offered for sale under a closed bid format.  Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope and will be accepted by the Selectmen’s Office  until noon on Monday, December 17, 2018.

Bids will be opened at the Board of Selectmen’s meeting to be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, December 17, 2018

Items may be viewed, by appointment, at the Ashford Public Works garage located at 185 Nott Highway.  The contact phone number is 860-429-6812.

Purchaser is responsible for removal of their purchase by 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 19, 2018.

  • 2000 GMC Sierra Pick-up:  Extensive body rust, broken frame, sold as parts only (minimum bid $200)
  • 2009 International School Bus:  high mileage, some rust, not road-worthy
  • Two (2) TL 48 Mohawk Automotive lifts:  48,000# capacity, hydraulics do not work (minimum bid $100 each)
