Household Hazardous Waste – The Town of Ashford Transfer Station does not accept hazardous waste.  Household hazardous waste can be brought to the Mid-Neroc Chemical Waste Drop-off Facility on Hancock Road in Willington, CT.  The facility is open from 9 AM until 2 PM on the first and third Saturday of each month from mid April to early November.  They can be reached at 860.684.3163

Swap Sheds – Thanks to a generous donation from a former resident, we have a swap library at the Transfer Station.  Both the swap library and the shed, available for goods swapping, are located south ofthe Dog Pound, across from the recycle compactor.
